FANTASTIC!!!
January 5, 2012Skiing this afternoon was beyond Fantastic! The snow continues to hold up, grooming was excellent and very few folks out. Some might be on their bikes for early Iron Horse Training! So as not to mis-lead anyone, yes there are some thin areas , some trails that are not opened and icy where the sun does its thing! If anyone is telling you it is awful, ignore them and come out for an excellent ski!

Just skied in the moonlight on Fri night and the groomers have made the conditions excellent. Making something from nothing! There are obvious bare spots at Pine Point. The reasons the skiing remains good is due to the hard work of groomers and the shade at Vallecito.
Diane and Rob ae NOT smoking stuff, the skiing is so World Cup! Avoid the downhills into Brad’s cabin and PIne pOint, everything else thouggh is great, and teh road is just perfect! Believe it! Great job groomers!
